Maoris prowl Royal Mile

August 15, 2014

THE HAKA, a traditional Maori dance, has probably only ever been seen in the capital at Murrayfield, but the tradition was kept alive for festival-goers on the Royal Mile yesterday.

Members of the Te Matatini Kapa Haka Aotearoam, which fosters, develops and protects traditional Kapa Haka and Maori performing arts in New Zealand, are taking part in the Festival Fringe, celebrating the country's rich culture.

Catch it at the Assembly Hall.
