LONDON (Alliance News) - Real Estate Credit Investment PCC Ltd Thursday net asset value per share increased to GBP1.581 at July 31, from GBP1.541 at March 31, while the value of its bond portfolio fell slightly to GBP78.6 million from GBP85.8 million in March.

The bond portfolio reduced in the period due to repayments of positions at par ahead of legal final maturities, and the company's net sales of bonds in anticipation of new loan advances, Real Estate Credit Investment said.

During the period, GBP23.9 million of new loan commitments were made through five loans closing.

Overall, gross assets were valued at GBP158.9 million at the end of July, compared with GBP157.0 million at March 31.

The stock quoted down 0.1% at 165.80 pence Thursday morning.
