BRIEF: Report: Iron Hen owner plans retail multiplex in downtown Greensboro

Aug. 14--The Triad Business Journal reports that a Greensboro-based catering and events company plans to revitalize warehouse space at 509 S. Edgeworth St. in downtown Greensboro into a $2 million retail "multiplex" with various eateries, a bakery, event space and a speakeasy-type lounge.

The food group Fresh. Local. Good., which also runs the Iron Hen CafÉ, plans to convert the 30,000-square-foot property at the corner of South Edgeworth and Spring Garden streets by spring of next year, according to the report.
