The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order on a single source basis to Domain Tools for access to Domain Tools data service. The contracting officer has determined that Domain Tools is the only source that can reasonably meet the SEC's requirement in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b). Access to comprehensive Internet domain registration data, including information on domain names and history, as well as trademark and brand protection services for domain names, with access to information through search name, email address, physical address, or phone number, domain sales historical data from 1997 to the present, and ownership and brand monitoring tools is required by the SEC. No other available service provides information (including contact information) on current registrant, nor do they include historical data. Domain Tools is the only known comprehensive source of Internet registration information data. The period of performance for the purchase order is anticipated to be one (1) year with four (4) one (1) year options and the total value of the order shall be below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold.

The SEC intends to award a purchase order to Domain Tools on or about August 27, 2014. This notice is not a competitive request for proposals. A competitive solicitation will not be issued. However, the government will give consideration to interested parties that identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by the response date of this notice.
