Franc Mixed Ahead Of Swiss ZEW Economic Sentiment Index

BRUSSELS (Alliance News) - At 5 am ET Wednesday, the Centre for European Economic Research, or ZEW, will release the results of the August ZEW Credit Suisse survey for Switzerland. In July, the economic expectations index based on the survey was at 0.1.

Ahead of the data, the franc showed mixed trading against the other major currencies. While the franc slipped against the euro and the greenback, it rose against the yen and the pound.

The franc was worth 0.9090 against the greenback, 1.5279 against the pound, 112.73 against the yen and 1.2138 against the euro as of 4:55 am ET.
