Federal Reserve System, State Department Send Reports to Senate

WASHINGTON, Aug. 13 -- The chair of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System has sent to the Senate, pursuant to law, a report entitled "Annual Report to Congress on the Presidential $1 Coin Program" to the Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.

Other reports were also received and have been forwarded to the Foreign Relations Committee.

* The general counsel of the Peace Corps has sent, pursuant to law, a report relative to a vacancy in the position of Deputy Director of the Peace Corps on July 28.

* The secretary of the Department of Commerce has sent, pursuant to law, a report relative to the export to the People's Republic of China of items not detrimental to the U.S. space launch industry.

* The assistant secretary for Legislative Affairs of the Department of State has sent, pursuant to law, a report relative to sections 36(c) and 36(d) of the Arms Export Control Act (DDTC 14-052).
