August 13, 2014

Aug. 14--Impressions of Fredericksburg, a professional interior design studio and showroom located downtown, is now for sale.

The business, located at 400 A Charles St., has been owned for 16 years by designer Kelly Banez and her father, Lynn Hamb.

But now, Banez is moving to a different state, and she and Hamb have decided to sell the business.

Listed for $325,000, the business comes with all materials. One designer, Jay Downey, wishes to remain with the firm during the transition.

The owner of the office leased for Impressions will vet the new studio owners.

"It's definitely a turn-key operation," Hamb said. "It would come with everything needed to take on clients on the first day. If they love design, this is an ideal situation."

Heather Hagerman, who is representing the owners in the sale, said the name recognition of the design firm, its contacts and preferred pricing agreements all make it an exciting opportunity for budding designers.

Those interested in inquiring about purchasing Impressions of Fredericksburg should contact Hagerman at or 540/429-2429.
