United States : RT LOGIC wins contract for components to use in Air Force s GPS OCX

RT Logic, Kratos subsidiary, has obtained a $1 million contract for components to use in the Air Force s next generation Global Positioning System (GPS) Operational Control System (OCX) ground segment.

The follow-on contract delivers to $4 million the amount awarded to RT Logic for OCX. RT Logic works with Raytheon, GPS OCX prime contractor, as the primary equipment supplier for Command and Control (C2) of the GPS 3 satellites.

The company is delivering software Front End Processor (FEP) units and Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) gateways.

For simulating GPS mission string, RT Logic is even constructing a high fidelity lab environment.

Raytheon can utilize the lab system to resolve issues, integrate and simulate new functionality and maintain the system without delaying its regression testing schedules.
