ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- Facebook, Menlo Park, California, has been assigned a patent (8,793,328) developed by five co-inventors for a distributed storage system. The co-inventors are Jack William Lindamood, Mountain View, California, Douglas John Beaver, San Francisco, Apostolos Lerios, Austin, Texas, Matthew Page, Mountain View, California, and Peter Avelino Ruibal, Palo Alto, California.
