Baron Oil Raises GBP3 Million Through Share Placing

LONDON (Alliance News) - Baron Oil PLC Tuesday said it has raised GBP3 million by placing 206.9 million new shares at a price of 1.45 pence per share, funds it will use for general working capital purposes.


The placing shares will represent around 15.0% of the company's enlarged issued share capital. It will have 1.3 million shares in issue after the placing.


The stock closed down 5.6% at 1.70 pence Tuesday.
