July 31--Authorites have arrested a man in connection to the 2012 robbery of the FedStar Credit Union in College Station.

Authorities said the man dubbed the "Loan Ranger Bandit" is responsible for robberies in three states, including the College Station robbery in which a man walked into the bank on Harvey Road, displayed a gun and demanded money. He walked out of the bank, and authorities were not able to locate him.

On July 1, authorities said a similar bank robbery was reported in Benton, Arkansas, and 37-year-old Richard W. Swicegood was arrested. Officials said their investigation linked the Waxahachie resident to the FedStar Credit Union robbery in College Station.
