Seven home, car break-ins reported Tuesday

July 09--Seven Montgomery home and vehicle owners reported break-ins to their property on Tuesday.

Around midnight Tuesday, a home at the 000 block of Coronet Drive was broken into, and a 55-inch LG flatscreen television worth $1,700 was stolen.

At around 2:30 p.m., a home on the 5600 block of Carmichael Road was broken into. Nearly a $1,000 worth of food, pots, pans, flatscreen televisions, shoes and clothes were stolen.

Around 5:30 a.m., a 2005 gold Chevrolet Impala was broken into at a home on the 1000 block of Daystreet Road. A JVC car radio, CD player worth a $100 was stolen along with a Sprint cell phone charger and cash.

At 7:15 a.m., a home on the 3000 block of Southmall Circle was broken into through the front door. Three flatscreen Phillips television worth $2,700 was stolen along with .9 mm Taurus handgun, an Xbox, PlayStation 4, Beats headphones and a Netbook Tablet were also stolen, totaling a value of almost $1,500.

At 9 a.m., a 2011 Hyundai Sonata was broken into at the home of 1240 S. Hull St. A Vera Bradley black and white zip-up wallet was stolen along with personal information, bank and debit cards.

Also at 9 a.m., a thief stole $1,400 worth of lawn equipment from the home of 523 Placid Drive. A white and orange STiHL weed eater and hedge trimmers were stolen along with an Echo back-pack burgundy blower.

Later at 9:30 p.m., a 2003 Isuzu four-door blue Ascender was broken into through the window in a parking lot on the 200 block of Perry Hill Road. A brown Auburn wallet was stolen with cash, bank cards and drivers license.
