Radisys and Mavenir Systems reported that they have been honored with the Best Voice over LTE (VoLTE) Innovation award.
According to a media release, Radisys and Mavenir have been working together since 2011 to ensure that mobile operators are able to LTE-based voice and video services to their subscribers. For mobile operators, the integration of Radisys' MRF with Mavenir's mOne Convergence Platform provides the ability to deliver next- generation communications services, with improved economics, better scalability and increased flexibility. The combined platform, which fully embraces the principles of Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), can also be deployed as a fully virtualized solution, bringing additional cost savings and flexible new business models to operators.
