Grandhope, Peking University to Set up Stem Cell Institute

BEIJING, July 9, SinoCast -- Grandhope Biotech (SZSE: 300238) and Peking University's science and technology development signed a cooperation agreement to build a stem cells and regenerative medicine research institute.

The two parties agreed to join hands with Guangdong Zhiguang Biological Technology to set up a stem cells and regenerative medicine research institute company and establish a world leading stem cells and regenerative medicine research and industrialization platform.

The newborn has registered capital of CNY 58.88 million, including 40% owned by Peking University and 40% owned by Grandhope and its controlling subsidiary Zhiguang; Peking University will contribute with intangible assets and other parties will invest in cash.
