Oman : alizz Islamic Bank hires Salaam Said Al Shaksy as new CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

alizz Islamic Bank has named MUSCAT Oman Investment Stabilisation Fund chairman Salaam Said Al Shaksy as new Chief Executive Officer.

Al Shaksy features over 22 years of experience in retail and wholesale banking and has held the chief executive officer post in several financial institutions, comprising National Bank of Oman, Dubai Bank, Dubai Banking Group, and Dubai Islamic Investment Group. He started his banking career with Citibank global consumer business in 1992 in Dubai.

According to Bank chairman HH Sayyid Taimur Bin As ad Al Said, I would like to welcome Salaam Al Shaksy as Chief Executive Officer of alizz Islamic bank. I am confident that his wide experience and exceptional insight in the banking sector locally, regionally, and internationally will provide the bank with great value to become a leader Islamic bank in the Sultanate .

At present, Al Shaksy, who is chairman of Oman Investment Stabilisation Fund, is also on the board of the executive committee and chairman of the tender committee of Al Rafd Fund, Oman Government-funded SME fund, board member of College of Banking and Financial Studies, established and monitored by the Central Bank of Oman.
