Pakistan : IMF approves loan of $556m for PAKISTAN as fourth tranche

Pakistan declared that it has obtained a loan sanctioning, worth $556m from International Monetary Fund (IMF) loan as fourth installment, to raise the country s struggling economy.

Previous month, following the IMF team assessment the economic performance of the country, the 4th payment of the Extended Facility Fund (EFF) was issued.

We have got the $556m into our foreign exchange reserves now, a State Bank of Pakistan spokesman confirmed.
