Indian Rupee Extends Slide Against US Dollar

NEW DELHI (Alliance News) - The Indian rupee continued its descending trend against the US dollar in evening deals on Monday.

Breaching the key 60 level, the rupee hit a 5-day low of 60.05 per dollar. The pair was quoted at 59.77 at Friday's close. The rupee may possibly find support around the 60.5 zone.
