Acer has won two Computex Taipei Design and Innovation (d&i) Awards at this year's Computex Show in

The evaluation criteria included the degree of innovation, design quality, choice of materials, environmental friendliness, functionality and brand value.
The 13.3-inch Aspire V 13 notebook features a simple and elegant form factor. It sports a 19.65 mm thin profile and weighs 1.5 kg, making it great for work or on-the-go.
It also features a sophisticated patterned aluminum cover, created with Nano Imprinting technology, which gives it a unique refined look and feel that will stand out among the crowd. The model comes in dark gray and white.
The model is preloaded with Windows 8.1 and packed with plenty of power with a fourth generation Intel Core i processor.
It is equipped with up to 16 GB memory and comes with optional SSD or HDD1 that provide up to 1TB of ample storage.
It is also outfitted with an HD webcam and digital microphones, besides its Multi-input Multi-output (MIMO) wireless module and built-in high-performance Gigabit LAN port that provide fast internet speeds for smooth web browsing and communications. It provides up to 72 hours of battery life.
The 23-inch Aspire U5-620 features a simple front surface with its display incorporated with its front speakers. It also has a slender 35 mm side profile, sophisticated silver frame and innovative angle-cut aluminium alloy stand with thickened corners.
It also features a dual array microphone powered by AcerPurified. Voice and front-facing Hi-Fi speakers that make web chat conversations clean and clear.
It is outfitted with a fourth generation Intel Core processor, optional NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics card for multimedia enjoyment and comes with Windows 8.1 pre-installed. It also offers up to a 1TB hybrid drive with up to 8GB memory and 802.11ac for fast wireless connections. -
