Plixer Gets Awards from Network Products Guide

July 7, 2014

Plixer International said that Network Products Guide has named Plixer a Gold and Bronze Winner for the Ninth Annual 2014 Hot Companies and Best Products Awards.

According to a release, Plixer took Gold within the "Hot Companies and Organizations" category, impressing judges with its notable 30 percent growth, and in the "Bandwidth Optimization" category for the second consecutive year. In addition, the company won Bronze awards, also for the second consecutive year, in the following three categories: Best of IT Software, Network Management and Performance Optimization.

Plixer specializes in network threat detection, historical reporting, and capacity base-lining for both physical and virtual environments. The company's flagship solution, Scrutinizer, was recently enhanced with a threat heat map that improves the ability to identify cyber threats and allows security administrators to identify hosts with the most abnormal communication behaviors.

"Plixer has achieved such notable growth because organizations of all sizes with networks that are vulnerable and/or attractive to hackers are potential users," said Michael Patterson, Plixer Founder and CEO, Plixer. "We are pleased that the company's momentum, and so many of our product innovations, has captured the attention of Network Products Guide judges."

An annual achievements and recognition awards program with active participation from a broad spectrum of industry voices, the annual Hot Companies and Best Products recognition program encompasses the world's best in organizational performance, products and services, executives and management teams, successful deployments, product management and engineering, support and customer satisfaction, and public relations in every area of information technology.
