Zookeepers present frozen feast for animals to cool off them in western Turkey

IZMIR (CIHAN)- With the arrival of hot weather, animals in a zoo in southwestern Turkish city of Izmir are cooled off with the help of zookeeper who feed them with frozen foods.



Izmir's Natural Life Park, which was opened in 2008 and also is accepted one of the famous zoos in Europe attracts people attention with its way of animal feeding. Specially stuffed and prepared frozen foods for each animal have been servicing with bowls. After the freezing process the foods of animals turn into and ice bar and servicing animals with aim to keep them cool off and increase their resistance to the unbearable weather condition of the hot summer days.



Zookeeper in the park said to CIHAN that the specially stuffed and frozen foods have been servicing to animals since last year. They also added, their second aim with this way of feeding that is keeping the animals appetite open.
