Kazakhstan : IBRD to offer loan for Kazakh justice system, worth $36 million

The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) announced that it would be offering a $36 million loan for institutional boosting of the Kazakh justice system.

As per Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kazakh President inked the law on the confirmation of the corresponding agreement with the bank.

Maturity of the loan is 15 years, including a 5-year grace period, further, to the project, $23.9 million will be apportioned from the state budget.

The project is aimed at the enhancement of Kazakhstan's legal system.
