Telecoms service provider Inabox Group has inked a deal worth $350,000 to acquire Neural Networks, an Australian provider of wholesale cloud and VoIP products.

A provider of network services, billing and support services, Inabox, said the deal will strengthen its IP portfolio and managed ICT services business, bringing to the company over 100 customers purchasing cloud-based products wholesale and a 'next generation' patented customer portal that can be used to support both acquired and current services within its portfolio.

Inabox Group managing director Damian Kay said the acquisition will also provide the firm with much needed proficiency in the cloud field along with a team experienced in building cloud-based solutions.

Kay added : 'Cloud is a key strategic direction for Inabox Group. Our customers' end users are typically SMEs, where demand for cloud services is extremely high. The acquisition of the Neural Networks business sets us up well to take part in the growth of these revenue streams.'
