ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 31 -- Bertrum Technologies, Wilmington, Delaware, has been assigned a patent (8,792,828) developed by four co-inventors for an "enhanced wireless handset, including direct handset-to-handset communication mode." The co-inventors are Daniel Wayne Mauney, Cary, North Carolina, Marc A. Sullivan, Austin, Texas, Charles A. Green, Canton, Michigan, and Steven A. Harbin, Austin, Texas.
