2020 Company Wins $97.2-million Contract with NOAA

2020 Company reported that it was awarded a 5-year, $97.2- million Satellite Mission Operations and Maintenance Support (SMOMS) contract by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

Under this award, 2020 said, it will provide Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to the Agency's Office of Satellite and Product Operations (OSPO).

According to a company release, 2020 will primarily operate on the premises of the NOAA Satellite Operations Facility (NSOF) in Suitland, Md., and the Center for Weather and Climate Prediction (NCWCP) in College Park, Md.

OSPO collects, processes, and distributes environmental satellite data and derived products about Earth's weather, atmosphere, oceans, land, and near-space conditions.

2020 will use an integrated, process-based solution to support the spectrum of SMOMS requirements to deliver daily mission success while ensuring security compliance.
