Study Data from University of Science Malaysia Update Understanding of Optoelectronics [Evaluation of noise parameter characterization methods for radio frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) device]

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Electronics Newsweekly -- Fresh data on Optoelectronics are presented in a new report. According to news reporting from George Town, Malaysia, by VerticalNews journalists, research stated, "This study evaluates several tuner-less noise parameter characterization methods. The theory, equation, and procedure are described in detail as implemented in this study: The tuner-less noise parameter characterization methods are classified into three categories: noise power, direct, and multiple source impedance methods."

The news correspondents obtained a quote from the research from the University of Science Malaysia, "Comparison of the conventional noise parameter characterization method with the three categories is performed in terms of the measurement setup and procedure. The advantage of each method over the other is also highlighted. The objective of this work is to provide an overview in choosing the best method for the noise characterization based on available resources."
