Studies from M. Savescu et al Provide New Data on Optoelectronics (Optical solitons with quadratic nonlinearity and spatio-temporal dispersion)

August 6, 2014

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Electronics Newsweekly -- A new study on Optoelectronics is now available. According to news originating from Galati, Romania, by VerticalNews correspondents, research stated, "This paper studies bright, dark and singular soliton solutions to quadratic nonlinear media in presence of spatio-temporal dispersion as well as inter-modal dispersion."

Our news journalists obtained a quote from the research, "Exact 1-soliton solution is obtained. There are several constraints that will naturally fall out during the course of derivation of the soliton solution."

According to the news editors, the research concluded: "These constraint conditions must hold in order for the solitons to exist."

For more information on this research see: Optical solitons with quadratic nonlinearity and spatio-temporal dispersion. Journal of Optoelectronics and Advanced Materials, 2014;16(5-6):619-623.
