Mithras Investment Trust First-Half NAV Underperforms Benchmark

LONDON (Alliance News) - Mithras Investment Trust PLC Wednesday said its net asset value total return fell in the first half of the year and significantly underperformed its benchmark.

The investment trust said its net asset value total return declined by 3.7% in the six months to June 30, compared to its benchmark, the FTSE All-Share Index, which rose 1.6%.

Its share price in the period rose 5.8%.

The trust's net asset value per share in the period was 153.4 pence, compared with 148.0 pence in the same period a year earlier.

Mithras Investment Trust shares closed 2.6% higher Wednesday at 148.23 pence per share.
