Free Workshops for Job Hunters

July 30--The city of Wichita and the Workforce Centers of South Central Kansas are hosting a series of free workshops in August for those seeking jobs, according to a news release.

Workshops will focus on job search techniques, resume writing and interview strategies and introductions to computers.

-- Resume and interview, 1 to 3 p.m. on Aug. 6

-- Introduction to computers, 9 a.m. to noon on Aug. 20

-- Resume and interview, 1 to 3 p.m. on Aug. 7
