July 30--BILOXI -- Authorities have arrested a 19-year-old Biloxi woman accused of charging $547.88 to a credit card she allegedly stole from a vehicle.

Police Sgt. Donnie Dobbs said Derrica Terrell was arrested Tuesday on charges of burglary of a vehicle and credit card fraud.

Dobbs said the arrest resulted from an investigation into a June 16 burglary in the 1600 block of Irish Hill Drive where a wallet, credit card and other personal items were stolen from a vehicle.

Dodds said $547.88 was charged at a local convenience store shortly after the burglary. Thanks to video surveillance of the transaction, police were able to identify Terrell, he said.

Terrell was held at the Harrison County jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond set by Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain.
