Yen Extends Slide Against Some Majors

OTTAWA (Alliance News) - The Japanese yen continued its decline against the euro, franc and the Canadian dollar in early European deals on Thursday.

The yen fell to 95.61 against the loonie, its lowest since January 13. Against the euro and the Swiss franc, the yen hit new 3-week lows of 139.25 and 114.67, respectively.

On the downside, the yen is likely to face support around 96.4 versus the loonie, 140.00 against the euro and 115.00 against the franc.
