ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 28 -- Helix Medical, Carpinteria, California, has been assigned a patent (8,784,487) developed by four co-inventors for a "[c]atheter for inserting a voice prosthesis." The co-inventors are Eric D. Blom, Carmel, Indiana, Bradley T. Kracht, Westfield, Indiana, Eric Gerard Johnson, New Albany, Indiana, and Bryan E. Kostelac, Camby, Indiana.
