ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 28 -- Hewlett-Packard Development, Houston, has been assigned a patent (8,788,724) developed by Sohail Hameed, Houston, Balaji Natrajan, Spring, Texas, and Michael G. Myrah, Sammamish, Washington, for a "storage device to provide access to storage resources over a data storage fabric."
