July was a good month for tech lovers in Kenya as Samsung Electronics East Africa unleashed the mother of all television sets in the form of a Curved Ultra High Definition Light Emitting Diode TV.

The curve of the UHD screen is spectacle enough to keep viewers glued to their screens as Samsung is the first to introduce the UHD LED TV in the industry and more specifically in the East and Central Africa region.

"Everything looks more realistic and eye-pleasing on this screen. The unmatched resolution allows viewing of 4K picture quality and vivid natural colours," said Samsung Vice President for East and Central Africa Robert Ngeru.

Ngeru added that the auto depth enhancer technology that comes with the curved TV brings the already impressive picture quality to life offering unforgettable picture clarity.

The best feature of the curved set is the panoramic view courtesy of a 4200 curvature radius which gives a wider field of view. The concave screen is built for maximum comfort as it fits the shape of the human eye.

To complement the sharp picture quality offered by the screen whose image is four times the resolution of full HD TV sets, users get the enhanced smart remote control, which combines gesture recognition and voice interaction functionality.
