This is a notice of intent to award a sole source order and is not a request for competitive proposals under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The government intends to solicit a quote and enter into a firm-fixed price contract with Sonosim Inc., Sonosim Inc., is ISO 9001-2008 certified which demonstrates unwavering commitment to quality and excellence and globally recognizes quality management standard by the International Organization for standardization (ISO) based on the consistency and reliability via a diligent and rigorous quality management system, the objectives are continually seeking to strengthens and performance capabilities and standards of operational execution. Additionally, SonoSim Ultrasound system is a unique and proven effective ultrasound training technology that reduces the high opportunity cost associated with traditional ultrasound training approaches and designed to be quick, reliable , and easy to use , it also will comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the regulation promulgated thereunder with respect to any personally identifiable student information, customer service and technical support team is available with any issues that may rise for one year for free of charge .It is fully compatible that NIH has been using and is currently using, this acquisition training module system functionality is to maintain and develop point of care ultrasound skills which includes didactic knowledge -based assessment, this module system is for the completion of the ultra sound training program which requires for graduates medical fellows for hospital competency that will allow program director to review and determine for hospital privileges upon completing their fellowship. Therefore, based on the above reason, NIH made the determination that the SonoSim Inc., is the only vendor that can meet the needs of NIH fellowship training program that requires for Critical Care Medicine Department (CCMD) fellowship under the Accreditation Council for graduate Medical Education (ACGME) in support of critically ill patients at the Clinical Center, Intensive Care Unit, This procurement was conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1

This acquisition will be processed in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures as stated in Far 12 and under FAR 6.302-1. The period of performance is 12 months with an option of up to Two (2) one year option periods. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred by interested parties in preparation of information or documents related to this notice the determination of the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with in the discretion of the Government.
