H1 China Tax Revenue Up 7.9%

BEIJING, July 25, SinoCast -- China's tax revenue arrived at CNY 5.5878 trillion in the first half of this year, growing 7.9% over the same period of the previous year.

SAT Spokesman Wang Lujin said tax revenue of the secondary and tertiary industries witnessed a year-on-year growth of 4.2% and 11.6%, respectively, and accounted for 44.5% and 55.3% of total tax revenue.

In the first half of this year, eastern, central and western China's tax revenue grew 9.2%, 6.3% and 5.7%, respectively. Tax revenue growth in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Guangdong Tianjin and Fujian hit 23.8%, 14.7%, 11.7%, 10.1%, 9.2% and 9%.
