Fresenius Medical Care Holdings Assigned Patent

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 25 -- Fresenius Medical Care Holdings, Waltham, Massachusetts, has been assigned a patent (8,784,359) developed by four co-inventors for a "cassette system for peritoneal dialysis machine." The co-inventors are Kulwinder S. Plahey, Martinez, California, Frank L. Hedmann, Volkach, Germany, Stephan Klatte, Wurzburg, Germany, and Thomas Irvin Folden, Alamo, California.
