July 25--An old-fashioned tent revival planned in Linda has been postponed. No date has been set.

Bible school about disabilities

Children taking part in this year's vacation Bible school hosted by Sutter United Methodist Church will learn about disabilities and how to welcome people with disabilities to be their friends and to worship with them.

The program is from 10 a.m.-noon every day Aug. 4-Aug. 8. The church is at 7751 S. Butte Road in Sutter.

Kermes Festival set

Live music and Aztec dance are part of a Kermes Festival planned at the patio of Notre Dame School, across from St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville.

Festivities are from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.Aug. 17. Admission is free.

The school is at Seventh and C streets.

Sponsored by the Hispanic Catholic Concilio, the event also includes a barbecue and prizes. Money raised will benefit St. Joseph's.
