BRIEF: Boys & Girls Clubs will put on dance performances at Westfield Annapolis mall

July 25--To raise awareness for after-school safety, 45 children from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County will stage a "Great Futures" event at Westfield Annapolis mall from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.July 31.

They will be joined by thousands of Boys & Girls Clubs members nationwide who are staging simultaneous events at hometown venues and in New York'sTimes Square.

Students from Van Bokkelen Elementary, Parole Elementary, Annapolis Middle, Annapolis Elementary, Germantown Elementary, Georgetown East Elementary, Bates Middle, Annapolis High, Mills Parole Elementary, Freetown Elementary and Marley Middle will circulate throughout the mall.

At 2:30 p.m., several students will put on a dance performance. At 3 p.m., the entire group will perform a "Harlem Shake" in the food court. At 3:30 p.m. they will do a final "Harlem Shake" near the interior mall entrances to the Red Robin and Johnny Rockets restaurants.
