Thursday's ETF with Unusual Volume: IAT

The iShares U.S. Regional Banks ETF (IAT) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 554,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 132,000. Shares of IAT were up about 1.2% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Keycorp (KEY), trading up about 1.5% with over 10.5 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Regions Financial (RF), up about 1.7% on volume of over 8.3 million shares. National Penn Bancshares (NPBC) is the component faring the best Thursday, higher by about 4% on the day, while Popular (BPOP) is lagging other components of the iShares U.S. Regional Banks ETF, trading lower by about 0.9%.
