BRIEF: Moonalice At Infinity Hall

July 25, 2014

By Michael Hamad, The Hartford Courant

July 25--Moonalice -- Barry Sless, Pete Sears, Roger McNamee and John Molo -- is one of the more unabashedly hippie-friendly post-Grateful Dead bands around (their manager is longtime Dead roadie Steve Parish). It's also among the most fan-centric: Moonalice commissions an original poster for every outing (18 different designs were offered at this year's 4/20 show) and hands them out for free. Each show is streamed in HD for the couchtour set. And like their jamband forbears, Moonalice plays a variety of original songs and covers, with generous helpings of group improv. Showtime is 8 p.m.

MOONALICE performs on Thursday, July 31 at Infinity Hall in Norfolk. Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets are $25-$35. Information: infinityhall.com
