By Cassandra Spratling, Detroit Free Press

July 24--So much happening in the D today. But it doesn't stop today.

You can take in free concerts, featuring jazz musicians and other artists, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today as well as the next three Thursdays at Beatrice Buck Park. That's the green space in Paradise Valley in the shadows of the Music Hall in downtown Detroit.

Shane McKeever, an accomplished musician and graduate of the Arts League of Michigan Jazz Program, kicks off the series today.

And if you can't get there, don't worry.

You can listen to the live stream of the two-hour concerts at http://bit.ly/1k8kLXP.

The concerts are a joint venture of The Carr Center and Detroit Public Radio.
