The maker of home appliances reported a quarterly adjusted profit of $2.62 a share, missing expectations by 10%. Revenue dropped 1.4% to $4.68 billion, which fell short of expectations by 3%.

Robert Half

The staffing and risk-consulting services company's second-quarter earnings topped expectations. Earnings rose 19% to 55 cents a share, which topped analysts' estimates by 3 cents.

Puma Biotech

The company reported positive trial test results of Phase 3 clinical trials of its breast cancer treatment, Neratinib. Puma plans to file for regulatory approval for Neratinib in 2015.
