DES MOINES, Iowa, July 22 -- The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship issued the following news release:
Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey today announced that he will be visiting county fairs in Hamilton, Wayne, Appanoose, Plymouth and Emmet Counties from July 23 to 25. Northey will also participate in a tractor ride from Hardin to Grundy County on Wednesday, July 23.
On Wednesday Northey will visit the Hamilton County fair in Webster City and participate in the tractor ride from Eldora to Grundy Center. On Thursday he will attend the Wayne and Appanoose county fairs in Corydon and Centerville. On Friday he will visit the Plymouth and Emmet county fairs in Le Mars and Estherville.

Northey, a corn and soybean farmer from Spirit Lake, is serving his second term as Secretary of Agriculture.
