Germany,Turkey : NORDEX announces obtaining three WIND TURBINE DEALS

Nordex, German wind turbines manufacturer declared that it has succeeded three contracts in Turkey for setting up of its N117/2400 and N117/3000 machines with a merged capacity of 64.2MW and would be supplying seven of its N117/3000 turbines to Turkish telecoms firm Erdem for the Odemis wind farm, situated south-east of Izmir near the Aegean coast.

In Turkey, the firm would manufacture the rotor blades, towers and anchor cages, which would enable Erdem to get a higher feed-in tariff for the growth, in addition to the order with Erdem, it covers five-year service contract.

From Edincik Enerji, an order for endorsing expansion of Edincik wind farm at the Marmara Sea from 30MW to 56.4MW, has also been gained by the Nordex while the third pact with Bursa Temiz Enerji is to expand 25MW Bandirma III wind farm to 41.8MW with seven Nordex N117/2400 turbines.

In the Marmara region, wind farm is located and the extension is Nordex's second wind project with Bursa Temiz.
