G2Mi Research: Italian television sector is estimated to grow by 2% in 2014, according to new report from G2Mi Research

LONDON - The Italian television industry is estimated to grow by 2% in 2014, according to a new report from the UK TMT research firm, G2Mi Research. The sector which is largely led by Mediaset and RAI is estimated to have generated EUR 923.4 million in Q1 14, a y-o-y growth of 2% against a decline of 4.4% in full year 2013. Free to Air TV share in total TV revenue is declining, while Pay TV revenue share is growing.
