A new service for eVP and eCI customers

KANSAS CITY, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CI (Computer Instruments Inc.), a leading software manufacturer of self-service technology for IVR, CTI-Screen Pop, Call Back, Survey, Outbound Messaging, IP Phone applications and mobility solutions, announced today the launch of High Availability Solution in the cloud.

High Availability allows on premise eVP (formerly e-IVR) and eCI customers to have a duplicate High Available (HA) solution running in the CI Lenexa, KS corporate facility. This is NOT a Multi-Tenant solution but a dedicated port solution for each individual client.

“The HA solution is perfectly suited to be used when disaster strikes. The client simply points their calls to an assigned dedicated phone number terminating in CI’s HQ. CI then takes all the incoming traffic for that client and continues the flow of business. This high availability solution can also be used for peak overflow conditions as well as for any maintenance/changes that need to be made,” said David Baker, CI Executive Vice President.

“We are seeing steady interest from our customers and business partners regarding our HA solution,” said Chris Herring, CI CEO. “By incorporating the cost of HA into a client’s maintenance it allows them to take the monthly fixed costs over the term of the agreement giving them hard numbers to work with versus a pure hosted model that has costs increasing over time.” Pricing for the High Availability solution is an addition to a client’s current maintenance contract and is a minimum of a two-year commitment. There are no pay by call, transaction or agent costs involved in our offering. It is a very easy and straightforward solution.
