Apex Announces More Brazilian Investments in Angola

The Brazilian Investment Promotion Agency (APEX) intends to attract more investments into the Angolan market as currently the exports from the Latin American country comprise mainly of industrial products.

This was said by APEX CEO, MaurÍcio Borges, during a seminar on "Business opportunities in Angola".

According to the official, the agency will promote Brazilian products and services in Angola and attract direct Angolan investments into strategic sectors of the Brazilian economy.

"The Brazilian exports to Angola comprise mainly vehicles and railway materials, birds meat, soya, machineries, engines and metallurgy products and we want to bring into the Angolan market other useful materials for the economic development," he said.

He added that the visit to Angola of foreign buyers and opinion makers to learn about the country's productive structure contributes to the drafting of studies of commercial intelligence to support the business people wishing to start or expand business abroad.
