On behalf of the Department of State (DoS) Office of the Executive Director, Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS/EX), GSA FEDSIM is releasing this Request for Information (RFI) to assess interest, and the technical and managerial capability of the industry to satisfy the subject requirements. The Government is looking for information and/or a commercial off-the-shelf product (COTS) regarding biometric store and forward solutions able to support the requirements of the DS/EX This notice is issued solely for market research to support further planning by the Bureau, and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment on the part of the Government to conduct a solicitation for the below-listed support in the future. The Government reserves the right to invite select respondents to meet and/or to provide further descriptions of their capabilities. Responders are advised that the Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this RFI, nor will it compensate responders for any costs incurred in the development/furnishing of a response. There is no requirement to respond to this RFI in order to be eligible to propose on any future solicitation.
