Poland : WROCLAW DATA TECHNO PARK withdraws from PLN 76.8 million contract with QUMAK

Wroclaw Data Techno Park has withdrawn from a PLN 76.8 million contract with Qumak.

The suspension of its implementation was because the customer did not receive a decision on finance for the investment executed in a project which is been jointly funded by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.

The project covered establishment of a national centre for innovation and technology transfer in the field of e-health, under Measure 5.3, support for innovation centres financed by the European Union ERDF Operational Programme Innovative Economy for the years 2007 2013.

With Qumak, the subject of the contract was supply of infrastructure and software for the creation of computer platforms for e-services and applications based on cloud computing, including the Biomedical Informatics Platform for IP-BioMed, mainly stressing on the needs of biomedical companies through implementation at the Medical Data Processing Centre DTP in Wroclaw.
