G.M. Global Technology Operations, General Motors Assigned Patent for Modem Signaling

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 2 -- G.M. Global Technology Operations, Detroit, and General Motors, Detroit, have been assigned a patent (8,761,736) developed by three co-inventors for a "modem signaling using speech components over a voice channel of a wireless communication system." The co-inventors are Andrew J. MacDonald, Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, Cem U. Saraydar, Royal Oak, Michigan, and Sethu K. Madhavan, Erie, Pennsylvania.
